The United States has already introduced the new discharge standard few years ago. It is only a matter of time before the IMO's Ballast Water Management Convention is ratified. The key to a succesful installation starts with good planning. We have worked with ship owners, shipyards, and system makers in more than 60 retrofit cases already for various shiptypes and sizes with different treatment systems using state-of-the-art 3D technologies. Whether saving fuel or engine maintenance costs, all start with proper handling of fuel. Regardless to fuel types, such as residual, distillate, hybrid, and other alternatives, to get the most out of it, a thorough preparation is the most important prerequisite. In order to satisfy increasingly stricter emission standards, fuels today become complex products with possibly a myriad of quality issues which require greater care than conventional purification, filtration, and temperature control. We carry a number of products for different fuel types to mitigate some of those issues while reducing fuel consumption and engine maintenance in the process.

Regardless to fuel prices and charter markets, the shipping industry is under glowing pressure to improve energy efficiency. We offer a full range of hydrodynamic optimization services with comprehensive numerical analysis from simple trim adjustment to retrofitting custom-made energy saving devices to recover lost efficiency. We also carry an extensive list of products to improve shipboard energy management, such as LED lights and rim drive thrusters to consume less, and active front end variable frequency drives for variable speed generators and shaft generators to produce more efficiently.
