Our Profile
Serving the maritime industry globally for half a century
Since we opened our doors in 1968, our business has matured from a general ship supplier to a full service engineeing company. To meet growing demand for our service in Southeast Asia, we opened our Singapore branch in 1984. And, today, aside from a substantial amount of business it generates locally, it also performs a critical function in our organization as a regional hub providing logistical support to our supply chain and engineering service.

This year, we attended the largest maritime event in western Japan, again, with our long-term partner, Sankei Design Ltd. It is by far the most respected 3D ship design firm in Japan. Together, we have more than 60 successful BWMS retrofit projects under the belt.

Ballast Water Management Convention: Close but not quite
Belgium and Fiji just ratified the convention. However, based on the data at the end of February, the tonnage represented by the ratified states is still short of the required 35% by 0.18%.

CE Delft and Stratas Consulting

IGF Code: Scheduled to Enter into Force in January 2017
The Commitee adapted amendments to SOLAS Chapter II-1 Part G and the Code of Safety for Ships Using Gases or Other Low-Flashpoint Fuels, IGF Code, during MSC 95 in June 2015.
USA
The USCG Rejected the Most Probable Number Method
The USCG rejected the appeal from a number of UV-based ballast water treatment system makers to accept the Most Probable Number method as an alternative test method to the CMFDA/FDA.
